Hey fam and friends, another fast email!

One day this week, we were trying to find an investigator, but we ended up finding something else... A TRACK! (Yup, you know I took pics.) The first track and field I’ve seen here in Mexico Tuxtla Gutiérrez! It was a dirt track! Brought me back to my Raft River High School days. Seriously though, guys, Heavenly Father answers prayers! I'm always seeing the hand of the Lord while being here in the mission! LITERALLY THE HIGHLIGHTTTTT OF MY WEEK and helping my BUDDY FRIENDS here, of courseeeee!!!!

Every Sunday when I'm at church and taking the sacrament, I always look at a picture of Christ, a scripture, or a phrase to stay focused on OUR SAVIOR. I would highly suggest doing this if your mind wanders like mine does easily! It’s helped me immensely! This Sunday, I focused on a picture of Jesus Christ knocking on a door. Then it got me thinking...

What if Jesus Christ knocked on my door THIS SAME DAY? IMAGINEEEEE!! Man, that would be absolutely amazing! Then I got thinking… would I feel prepared if He came this day? Then later, I read this LIT scripture! John 6:38:

"For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the WILL OF HIM that sent me."

Then I went on thinking some more! Gosh dang, there is more I need to do! I need to give my ALL! I need to DO HIS WILL!

With my experience with sports, I would literally go out of my way to be the BEST I CAN because I love them! I also LOVE our HEAVENLY FATHER, so I want to have the same MOTIVATION and GO OUT OF MY WAY to do His work on the EARTH!

That’s also my invitation to you guys! DO HIS WILL & GIVE YOUR ALL! Think of something you would like to do or could be better in and ACT!

¡Holaaaaa! In my studies this week, I have been focusing on the people out in the field I get the opportunity to teach. Also, I leave for the field next week, and I’ve been here over a month (time slow down!). A scripture I read and that has stuck out to me is in Luke 15:4, and it says: "What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?" The last few years, I’ve had the desire to be a nurse or something like it. There is so much I can say, but through my CNA clinicals and working at an assisted living facility, I’ve seen people in pain, and it hurts to watch. It got me thinking about how our Savior feels that pain. He feels our pain, sorrows, and trials. That can't be easy, but it is also a blessing because He knows how we feel. So turn to Him in prayer, and He can bring you comfort. I know from experience because I pray A LOT that He is a GREAT LISTENE...

! EN LA TIERRA PROMETIDA !

¡Buenos días! ¿Cómo están? How is everyone doing? Here in Cacahoatán, a member, Hermano Marvin, has been teaching my compañera and me more about the history of the Book of Mormon, and let me tell you, it's FASCINATING! After our discussion, he asked me how I felt, and I said, "NO TENGO PALABRAS" - "I HAVE NO WORDS." First off, he showed us a map of the Book of Mormon lands, which are in the Mesoamericas. He says Hermana Huerta and I are extremely lucky because we are literally serving in "A PROMISED LAND" mentioned in the Book of Mormon! There are a few stones here, but one we specifically focused on is the IZAPA STONE (The Tree of Life). This stone includes many pictures and symbols from the scriptures! Ahh, I wish I could sit down and explain it all to you right now! I still need to do a lot more research, though. ¡NECESITA COCA!

Hola! OK, first off - RAMBUTAN (the BEST fruit in the WORLD)!! I tried it a week ago and fell in love! Sadly, rambutan is only grown here. Sorry. I also tried papaya and mangosteen, along with many other things. Papaya is alright, and mangosteen is also really good! They grow on so many trees! With that said, gullible Hermana Boden was trying to get some rambutan off a random tree (jumping as high as I could) when a lady spotted us! I was like, "oh no," because it could have been her tree. My companion and I looked at each other with concern... The lady said, "come here!... I have more inside." Phew. We got some fruit and were also able to give her a little lesson. So my gullibility led us to teach this lady! Pretty good! Hermana Boden also put her hair in a French braid, a pretty proud moment! (I'm not very good at hair).
