~ BENDICIÓNES PATRIARCHALES EN LA COSTA ~

Sup peeps!

A little news update! Hermana Boden said goodbye to all her best friends and has officially left the city. Not gonna lie, nothing will replace the time that I had and the people in BARRIO AEROPUERTO. I don’t know how to explain it, but the members and the people there are one of a kind. The opportunity to have gotten to know them is probably the best gift and blessing from God I could have ever been given. I know for a fact, with NO DOUBT in my heart, I am going to see my buddies in AEROPUERTO again and my comp HERMANA TOLEDO.

Hermana Boden, with all of her great amount of luggage (jaja, don’t ask me about it), moved to The Coast o La Costa! She got a new comp, Hermana Arza, and they've been living it up in the heat, wind, and in a freakin’ nice house! (Well, compared to my last one, jaja). The truth is, friends, there isn’t much nature here, which is ight—I have my plants, which I have been growing! Something that I have missed while being in the city was the stars! Wow, guys, to be able to see STARS again is a miracle to me! And can I just say the sunsets and sunrises here are TOP! Now that I'm in a safer area, I can run outside againnnnn! Ahhhhh! My comp so lovingly and willingly goes on runs with me in the mornings, and we get to see these sunrises! #BLESSED

I also plan on begging the leaders of my district if we can actually go to the beach one of these pdays. I’ll let you know if we go! ;)

I like this area because I can see there is a lot of WORK TO DO—something that I've been needing! In my ward in Aeropuerto, in the city, about 200 people attended sacrament. Here in the coast, my area Azteca, there are about 50 attending. YOU HEARD IT, LET'S GET TO WORK!

I've met some AMAZING PEOPLE already! One family in particular—a huge family, who are all converts to the church—told me about their beautiful conversion stories. Wow! My comp told me how badly they want to get their PATRIARCHAL BLESSINGS but can’t because there is no patriarch here. This broke my heart into 1 million pieces. You guys wanna know why? Because my patriarchal blessing has a HUGE PART OF ME. It literally has helped me so many times—in my trials, when I had doubts, when something was feeling missing. Prayer, church, the scriptures, and my patriarchal blessing were my resources to find peace, answers, and encouragement. I know it may seem like it’s just a paper, but this paper is a GOD-GIVEN GIFT and COUNSEL to help GUIDE us in our lives. It also talks about our lineage in the house of Israel, which is so cool!

Something little that mine says that I love is, "Your Heavenly Father will always love you." It's something that I always love to read and remember about my Father in Heaven's love for me.

I know for a fact, this family, with all of their DILIGENCE and PATIENCE, will be able to receive their patriarchal blessings someday! I'm going to be PRAYING SINCERELY for them as well. I'm sure they would appreciate your prayers too.

This is also an INVITATION for you guys. If you don’t have a patriarchal blessing, pray to our Father above, and I believe that you will feel prompted today or maybe another time in the future to receive it. I PROMISE it will bless your life like it has mine. If you have a patriarchal blessing, I inspire you to ask in prayer how it can bless you this week.

That's what I got for you all this week! ¡LES AMO!
