* SOÑANDO EN ESPAÑOL *

This week was pretty lit, not gonna lie! First off, we had our zone conference! It was filled with presents, sports, pictures, and lots of fun! I became a piñata, and President hit me with a piñata stick. Yeah, we’re tight like that! He said, "Voy a deshacer de los piojos." (Inside joke between Presidente and me).

It's interesting—every conference, I see such a big difference with my español! And guys, guess what? Hermana Boden is dreaming in español! It actually varies on the night whether I dream in English or Spanish, but I feel like that's pretty cool to be dreaming in Spanish. My dreams are definitely keeping me on my toes!

This week, Hermana Toledo and I witnessed lots of miracles! We are seeing so much improvement with our friends, and we actually put three people on dates for baptism this last week. We will see where the wind takes us with them! I love my friends! This week, I recognized how much I truly love helping people and helping them come closer to our Savior.

Truly, what greater joy is there than that? To see people truly get to experience and enjoy the love the Savior has for them—the love we have been so blessed to feel in our lives as well! La verdad, I truly am loving the work at this moment!

I have been really trying to focus less on worrying about my Spanish and more on the needs of the people. I have definitely noticed how much more I have been enjoying the mission and my time with my friends here. Not just that, but I’ve seen improvement with the Spanish as well. ¡Vamos!

I’ve always loved this quote but feel like I am finally living it, and that is:

"PUT GOD FIRST,
OTHERS SECOND,
AND YOURSELF THIRD."

I’m actually not sure who wrote this quote, whoops! But my dream is that it inspires you like it has inspired me. I promise you, as you put God first and others second, you will find so much happiness in your life and the lives of others! Heavenly Father will be more than happy as well.

HERE WE ARE AGAIN! UPDATE FRIENDS: I'm still here living it up in the coast, I received my new comp on Wednesday and her name is Hna Padilla! I'm TANNER and my SPANISH is improving. I'm basically LATINA now, even some of the members say so jajaja! Also, I eat seafood almost every single day. Didn't like seafood before the mish, but I actually LOVE IT NOW! It was quite the week! We started teaching a woman that is 80 YEARS OLD and is so freaking cute and delicate! Brought me back to my working in the nursing home days! I miss my old people! HABLAR CON TODOSSSS

¿Cómo están mis amigos? - How is everyone? This week we had a mini exchange, so a different missionary came with me in my area for a day. My comp is the capa (hermana that is in charge of the hermanas in our zone). Almost all my comps have been capas, so basically, I'm going to be enjoying a whole bunch of mini exchanges again. I prayed that I could be patient and enjoy them, and the truth is I loved it this week! Jaja, the girl I had exchanges with is so cute! Before we went to bed, she went off about all her boy problems. Jaja, I just laughed. Not really something I want to focus on right now, but let it spill, chica, I got ya; I'mma sit here and listen, jaja. I'm not complaining though; la verdad, yo extraño mucho los chismes con mis amigas! Other things happened in the exchanges, but that is what I remember at this moment. CHISME! Jaja, I have problems! ENCUENTRA A DIOS Y SONRÍE :))

HOLA! CÓMO HAN ESTADO? Another week in the heat! We had our zone conference. Learned a bunch of stuff and received revelation as usual. Got to talk to the pres! Showed him some pics of our little ranch and when I shot a deer. He liked that, jaja! I learned how to make empanadas with the district today and then I made a dog empanada! Don’t worry, I didn’t eat it! Miracle of the week is our friend IRMA. She is Católica but has so much faith in Heavenly Father and loves talking to us about Him. She calls us her "ANGELES" - "ANGELS." She went to our family home evening activity this week and loved it! Jaja, we played charades and it took a little bit, but she got out of her comfort zone and got involved and was the cutest mariposa! Not just that, but this Sunday she came to church with us as well, and wow, the members were amazing and the Spirit definitely touched our hearts that day! I strive every day to be more like Irma!
