HOPPY EASTER :))

Hey, what’s up! Fill me in on life! Also, "HOPPY EASTER EVERY BUNNY!" An elder created this saying in my district and I thought I’d share it with you all jajajaaj! But really, happy Easter — I hope you all enjoyed it! I loved being able to focus on the RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST in these days, but I especially loved sharing with others about this beautiful sacrifice He did so WILLINGLY for us. The president of our branch said something that really stuck out to me, and it was: "JESUCRISTO DEDICÓ SU TIEMPO." "JESUS CHRIST DEDICATED HIS TIME." Which is absolutely so true! He gave up His TIME, LIFE, and literally EVERYTHING for us so that we can follow His example and also be RESURRECTED someday. How amazing is that! It got me thinking about how sometimes we get so caught up in the world, sometimes we forget to dedicate even a little bit of time to focus on our Savior Jesus Christ. Many say they are busy and don’t have time to focus on Him, but I promise the...

WHATS UP MY GANG!! WHATS CRACKALACKIN!! This week was excellent! Comp got sick so I basically called a huge amount of people in the house for two days, cleaned the house, and took care of Hermana Padilla. I WAS SOOO BORED, not gonna lie! I hate not being able to work. Don’t worry — the rest of the week made up for the two uneventful days. We had a lesson with OUR ANGEL Hermana Irma and put her on date to get baptized! After that, we had a family home evening and talked about temples. There were actives, inactives, and a family that has never heard of the church before! I LOVE FAMILY HOME EVENINGS! We also ate mangos because we eat mangos every single day here, jaajaja! The Spirit was so strong and I feel everyone enjoyed it! We had it at an inactive’s house and she came up to me after and said, "Gracias por traer este PAZ y GOZO en mi hogar" — "thanks for bringing peace and joy into my house." Then she hugged me. Moments like this make every hard part of the mission...

WHAT UP WORLD! HOW WAS GENERAL CONFERENCE! WHAT DID WE LEARN? This week was a week full of ANIMALS! Literally! I held a BIRD, a PIGLET, and IGUANAS! Today for pday we went to a place filled with iguanas. I sure love the Savior for blessing us with the happiness of animals! Something funny that happened. This week was also FULL OF MIRACLES! You guys know that this week was GENERAL CONFERENCE! Well, my comp and I made it a goal of ours to invite as many people as we could! With all of our efforts, we had 3 friends that weren't members show up on Saturday and 6 show up on Sunday! It was absolutely beautiful to see their reactions to the conference! Something that I noticed that was repeatedly said was: "CHRIST IS THE ANSWER." The reason my comp and I wanted to invite so many people was so that they could hear these inspired messages from our Prophet and Apostles, but most of all COME AND LEARN MORE OF CHRIST. So that they can come to the conclusion that really He is EVERYTHI...

HOLA! CÓMO HAN ESTADO? Another week in the heat! We had our zone conference. Learned a bunch of stuff and received revelation as usual. Got to talk to the pres! Showed him some pics of our little ranch and when I shot a deer. He liked that, jaja! I learned how to make empanadas with the district today and then I made a dog empanada! Don’t worry, I didn’t eat it! Miracle of the week is our friend IRMA. She is Católica but has so much faith in Heavenly Father and loves talking to us about Him. She calls us her "ANGELES" - "ANGELS." She went to our family home evening activity this week and loved it! Jaja, we played charades and it took a little bit, but she got out of her comfort zone and got involved and was the cutest mariposa! Not just that, but this Sunday she came to church with us as well, and wow, the members were amazing and the Spirit definitely touched our hearts that day! I strive every day to be more like Irma! She never STOPS SMILING! Something about our ...

Hellooo my friendssss! Another fast week has passed! Met some cool people this week. Went to a Relief Society devotional and it made me feel proud to be a woman. Then today for p-day we went to the beach again because you know, WE'RE LIKE THAT! I'm currently in a combi, surrounded by a bunch of people, a weird movie is playing, and I'm listening to church music while trying to figure out what to share with you guys! Hmmmm what do I got for you guys this week... Ah, I remember now, I've got something! Ok my extraordinary people, I remember reading this talk by Elder David A. Bednar called "Watchful Unto Prayer Continually" this week. It's a killer talk, I would recommend reading it! He shared two great scriptures in his talk that I liked. The first was in Alma 34:39: "39: Yea, and I also exhort you, my brethren, that ye BE WATCHFUL UNTO PRAYER CONTINUALLY, that ye may not be led away by the temptations of the devil, that he may not overpower you, that ...

HERE WE ARE AGAIN! UPDATE FRIENDS: I'm still here living it up in the coast, I received my new comp on Wednesday and her name is Hna Padilla! I'm TANNER and my SPANISH is improving. I'm basically LATINA now, even some of the members say so jajaja! Also, I eat seafood almost every single day. Didn't like seafood before the mish, but I actually LOVE IT NOW! It was quite the week! We started teaching a woman that is 80 YEARS OLD and is so freaking cute and delicate! Brought me back to my working in the nursing home days! I miss my old people! She kept telling us about how she felt, "SOLA" - "LONELY." I loved that we could help her feel that she was cared for. We talked to her about the plan of salvation and she said we could stop by her house and take her to church next Sunday! My most PRECIOUS and AMAZING FATHER since being here in the coast has sent me an email almost every week. He sent me an email one day and it has been with me ever since. This is ...
